Which documents are required to rent a Vespa?

For EU countries, you need a driving license “B” and a credit card, from which we require a deposit of 400 euros. If you don’t have a credit card, you can leave the same sum in cash. Your deposit will be returned to you at the end of the rental. For non-EU countries you need an international driving permit.

What does the rental price include?

A lock, two helmets, two disposable headgears, the Vespa’s documents, third party insurance and a city map are included.

What is not included in the rental price?

Access points and navigation systems.

Where can I park the Vespa?

In Rome there is a lot of free parking for scooters. At each stop we recommend you remove the e-bike’s electronic device and use the security system provided. At night we recommend you keep the bikes in a safe place.

Can I drive in the city centre?

Of course. Visiting the centre on two wheels is the best way to enjoy our wonderful city and there are no driving bans for scooters.

Can I go out of town?

Yes, unless prohibited by law or traffic regulations, you can drive on most roads, but not on highways.

Do I have to pay the fuel?

Your Vespa will have a full tank when you recieve it. It should be returned with a full tank or additional charges will apply.

Where can I pick up the Vespa?

You can pick it up at our location or, if you prefer, we can bring it to you. This service is totally free and it’s offered only if your accomodation is in the city centre. You can choose when you book.

Where do I bring back the Vespa?

When you book your Vespa, you can choose to bring it back to our location or, if you prefer, we will come to pick it up.

What happens if I get a fine?

You are required to pay all fines and traffic violations. If you commit a driving offence, the police will send the fine to your address and we will charge you 20 euros + VAT for every fine you recive to pay our administrative fees.

Yes. It’s the best way to ensure a vehicle is reserved for you for your holiday. You can book it on our web site.

What happens if I haven’t booked my Vespa in advance?

You can call our phone number when you are in Rome and we will check availability

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. If you cancel your booking up to 48 hours prior to the day on which the rental is scheduled to start, you will not be charged and you will be fully refunded.

Can I extend my booking?

Yes. You have to call our phone number and we will change your return date.

Do you provide any assistance if there is a problem?

Yes, we provide phone support during our business hours between 8.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m.

Do you offer tours?

Yes. We have guides who will reveal all of Rome’s secrets. You can choose the tour you prefer, according to your needs and desires. If you don’t want to miss any of the city sites, you can take advantage of our expert drivers. You can also bring with you a guardian who will takecare of the vehicles during your stops. .

Which documents are required to rent a bike or an E-bike?

You need to show valid identification and a credit card as guarantee. If you don’t have a credit card, you must leave a deposit. Deposits vary by the type of vehicle chosen and will be returned at the end of the rental.

What does the rental service include?

We supply you with an ABUS lock, battery charger for the e-bike, assistance with any problems, a city map, and if you prefer, a helmet and high visibility bands.

What is not included in the rental price?

Does the rental come with any insurance?

No, the customer is liable for each damage to the vehicle or to third parties and for theft of the bike, its components and accessories.

How long will the e-bike battery last?

Depending on the chosen mode of pedal assist, it will work for 50-140 Km.

Am I required to always bring the charger with me?

If you will be travelling less than the km guaranteed by the charged battery, you may leave it in a safe place, such as your accomodation.
